Toro Sushi Stone Grill

We just wanted something quick and light as we were stuck at work late so we did the California Roll and the Gyoza (Pork). The California Roll was probably one of the worst I have ever had. It had a ton of cucumber in it and was really bland. The Gyoza (Pork) was oily and the filling just seemed to be pork with no seasoning or anything else. They were falling apart and mushy. The sauce with the Gyoza (Pork) was a really oily sweet sauce, which wasn't good. It all comes in this really cute, reusable tote and everything is packaged well. The ingredients at least seemed fresh. I'm hoping we just caught them on a bad night.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is consistently delicious every time I visit. My personal favorite dish is the Wagyu stone pot rice, although I never have a chance to take a picture of it because it's always devoured as soon as it arrives. Every item on the menu is consistently tasty, and even when ordering delivery through DoorDash, the food always arrives fresh and delicious. I can't get enough of this place.

The salmon avocado roll was wonderfully delicious and creamy. Surprisingly, the salmon lover roll was lacking in salmon filling. However, overall the rolls were fresh and the side of spicy mayo was a perfect complement.

I lLOVE LOVE the avo salad in the restaurant but getting it del was SO disappointing. It was not a salad. It was a few pieces of lettuce u see the avo and drenched in dressing.

I love Kalbi! My favorite dishes are the tempura and eel & cucumber rolls.
