We've lived in this area for the last 8 years, and I can recommend the almost 14 kilometers of lovely sandy beach and safe bathing from Torredembarra Marina and the Paella beach( named for its shape! right along to Creixell( next town all year through. There are 3 continuous beaches. In winter you almost have the beach to yourself and in Summer the little rowing boats ,and beach brollys add a colorful touch to the continuing BaixaMar Beach ,where the Fishermen originally lived and worked from. There's a very good selection of places to eat or have coffee. Out of season, Monday is the local closing day,but there is usually somewhere open! Nature and history have been generous to Torredembarra. As an example, there is a nice walk along the sea and few castles to visit nearby. Unfortunately, there is lots of improvisation and inconsistency in dealing with clients among most of the local restaurants and bars. For now, prices are still manageable, but are reaching a delicate benchmark. Professionalism is needed to stay competitive with other European seaside towns.
we sit in this place with a wonderful location, right on the long sea of turredamabarra, the staff is very kind, despite the full room were all very courteous and helpful, we order an appetizer of tuna belly, a dish assembled not bad from the cost of if not mistaken, then a paella that if not exceptional was absolutely high, two very good sweets a chocolate tortino and two truffles,
I love all the bars and restaurants by the beach. The town itself is a little dull but the library is very welcoming and have free wifi. Good supermarket in this town too. Great train service up and down the coast.
