This restaurant was linked to our hotel and had good reviews so we looked forward to trying it. Being English we were there earlyish by Spanish standards. We were escorted past some nice table near the bar into an area which was sandwiched between the kitchen and ‘main’ restaurant a nicer raised area with large windows out. We were not allowed in there but there was plenty of space the whole time we were there. Our table was near the kitchen door with a full view of the dishwashing activity. This is a well established restaurant in a stunning setting in El Rocio. We had 2 vegans and 1 vegetarian in our group of friends. There were a couple of vegan dishes which included a plate of cooked spinach and chickpeas. Tell the waiter of your dietary requirements when you are seated. Feature windows look out onto the lake. Which is a winner. The wine was good and the prices reasonable. I would like to see one or two more vegan dishes on the menu for choice. I'll definitely come back though
Treated my wife to her 60th birthday lunch here. We sat at a table on the first floor overlooking the lake romantic! You could tell this was a classy place by the high quality tablecloth, cutlery, glassware etc. The food was top notch we had salads followed by grilled dorada really tasty and fresh. Our waiter was very attentive the service was prompt and professional. A great touch was when my wife wanted to look at the flamingos. The waiter brought a pair of binoculars for her.
We’d found this place earlier in the day and been thrilled to have a proper cup of tea !! There is a huge restaurant overlooking the lagoon but for our evening meal we were only offered the bar area which was perfectly ok . One of us had a huge tender steak, another the beef stew which was also enormous but just beef and gravy . Two duck legs came with veg only average . Potatoes been warmed up too often. Reasonable price for an acceptable meal .

Excellent tradional Andalucía food. In the restaurant there is also great views to the lake and the flamingos. Prices are reasonable, service is good and be aware that the portions are more than big enough and can be shared . Especially the starters. We ender up with a doggybag and enjoyed it on the trio the day after.
The menu at this restaurant is quite extensive and all the meals we had were of excellent quality. We each ordered different main courses and first courses and each and every one was excellent. Gazpacho, spinach and chick peas for example. The duck, steak and pork were all first class.
Me and my partner in crime ordered the octopus for starter and then for the main we had bacalao and wild fish. Dishes were really good quality and fresh, service was good and very helpful with my food allergy. Just over 60 euro for 3 courses for 2 people, will definitely recommend!
Excellent lunch under the olive tree outside. A traditional menu of Andalusian dishes done very well with excellent service. Recommend the cazuela de pescado and the ensalada de jamon de pato con vinagreta de arandanos. Even the vegetarian of the group was pleased.

We were cycling through El Rocío and stopped for lunch at this great restaurant. The meals were divine and the waitress even did up a special platter for our 2 and 4 year old. It was one of the best meals we had in Spain.
