Toscanini's Ice Cream

Starting with the Matcha, I found it a bit too bitter for my taste, even though I enjoy unsweetened tea. I was hoping for a different vibe from my ice cream. However, when I paired the Matcha with the Fig Cardamom, it created a perfect combination that really enhanced the Matcha flavor! Highly recommend mixing it with Fig Cardamom. The Fig Cardamom flavor was rich and creamy, with a smooth, distinctly clear cardamom taste that wasn’t overwhelming at all. I was sitting by a fan because I’m one of those people who likes to chew on my ice cream, and I wanted to keep it from melting too quickly. Since they opened in the early 1980s (could any ice cream be better than Steve 's I wondered back then? , they have been hands downs serving the creamiest and tastiest ice cream in the Boston area. My go to flavors are any of the ones with hazelnut (nocciola gianduja which either they are now calling nutella or they have added yet another hazelnut flavor and all of their chocolates, especially Belgian chocolate, the occasional orange chocolate, and Mexican chocolate . There 's nothing like that to be had like these in most of the rest of the local ice cream shops. If only I could get there more often I would branch out more 'cause there are still plenty of enticing flavors I haven 't tried y...

I’m disappointed to say that my experience was far from pleasant. Don’t tell me you’re open until 10:00 PM if you're only accepting customers until 9:40 PM. When I returned at 9:30, the staff was rude, and they had already turned off the lights. I’m glad to see that the new ice cream shop nearby is thriving, especially compared to Toscanni’s. I definitely wouldn't be able to get a pint of B3 in just 10 minutes, so I won’t be returning.

Service is unbelievably rude, even by Boston standards. Ice cream is served barely frozen so it melts almost immediately. Interior is cramped and dirty. Just go to the microcreamery right next door! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

I've never tasted ice cream that pairs so perfectly with brown butter. Plus, the large brownies are absolutely delightful!
