Venue for parties etc, is very good, spacious and very clean with helpful staff. However bar prices are expensive considering this is Waltham Abbey and not the West End. The location of the Mead Suite, Town mead centre is NOT TomTom or Google maps friendly., which added extra time trying to find this venue. Overall a great venue, although additional location details needed for guests lol
However, the entrance to Orchard Gardens feels more like a barrier than an invitation. Additionally, litter can be an issue, particularly around the skate park and the path leading to Highbridge Street and McDonald's. Overall, it's a beautiful location to enjoy a summer afternoon, and the pond especially offers a great, though underutilized, picnic area.
Usually town mead is a nice place for walking the dog. Recently it has been plagued with kids getting drunk with crates of beer. Don't get me wrong I'm sure we all done it as a child. But they are smashing bottles and leaving bottle caps over the floor. I can't walk my dog over there due to her injuring herself on the glass
I visited for an under-13 football game at 11 o'clock. The astro turf was excellent. There's a dining area overlooking the golf course, and seating is available. There's also a small playground next to the parking lot. However, parking is only available downhill. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Sometimes children are not supervised and can be a bit dangerous for them as well as my children. On occasions there are teenagers drinking or using equipment dangerously. When empty or only small children, we absolutely love it. Great little play park.
Nice for an early morning dog walk, quiet and well maintained. Would rate 5 stars for that. Later in the day unfortunatley big kids dominate the skate park and there can be a bit of trouble with young adults mugging children. Needs security patrols.
it is steep in history, feels like a very small version of cambridge. it even has free public toilets that are clean, they do not have to keep their breath. close them through is the white water rafting and gunpowder mill oh and the channel.
