Food was good. We had the ribeye and it was done to my specifications and very tasty. We also had a side salad however it was oversaturated with dressing and not well chilled. We did eat it however. While I love Trabuco Oaks and go there periodically, it is not the same as the old Trabuco Oaks from years past. Owners change, food changes (beans are not as tasty) and we try to keep up with the times. Thankfullythey still have neckties hanging in the dining room. I do recommend going!
Excellent place to eat, with some history and a lot of memorabilia. The food was outstanding, service in par, ambience really perfect. We celebrated our anniversary. My husband had a stake, loved it, and my salad and mushrooms were both delicious, as expected. At the end, were were treated to a delightful surprise caramel ice cream for two, complementary delicious and plentiful. Thank you for a great special occasion experience!
We have been a customer for several years and the food has been outstanding. The issue we have with our past 2 visits is the prevalence of very young kids which are totally unruly, screaming loudly, and the parents ignoring the situation, and doing absolutely nothing to quiet them down. For couples looking forward to nice quiet dinner, this is not the restaurant to go to.
We've had dinner many times at Trabuco Oaks and this time was the best. Got there early and had a drink and sat when our reservation time came up. We got a table in the back (our preference) and had a great waitress which was super nice and attentive. Steak was perfect and all the rest was tasty. Great night and worth the drive. See you soon. Although this is a down to Earth steakhouse they could still stand to clean the cobwebs from the light fixtures so you don't feel like they will fall in your food. On this particular night, they must have been short staffed as it took about 30 min to get drinks and have our order taken. Thank goodness they have good steaks.
The food and service are always excellent. We love the grilled artichoke appetizer with lemon aioli delicious! I had grilled chicken and shrimp with gorgonzola butter and it was excellent! Our family has been coming here forever and we love it.
We had a delicious dinner at Trabuco Oaks Steakhouse. Our group of 4 each ordered a different main course and each of us savored every bite. It was so good and made even better by the fun atmosphere. What a great experience.

Reservation 5:30. Sat us under the Oak Tree upon my request. Water was brought to our table promptly... Our drink order was taken, then our meal choices. Service was outstanding!!
