It is a lovely fish and chip shop that wasn't too crowded. I overheard a couple complaining that the chips were overly salted, and we barely received any ketchup with the chips and hotdog. Overall, I would return, and it definitely deserves more than 4 stars.
Really disappointed went here after loads of great reviews but spend £30 on 4 portions of oily, brown chips. It was late in the day (17:00) so can only assume the oil hadn’t been changed so the chips were awful. Fish was lovely though.
Best chips I've had in a long, long time. Cooked to order and friendly service. Good curry sauce too. We come to Westward Ho every couple of months so I'm delighted to discover this excellent chippy.

The food here is delicious, situated right by the seaside. Everything is freshly cooked and incredibly tasty. The crispy chips are wonderful, and the overall presentation is lovely.
The food was excellent, and the service was quick. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
