First time trying this place tonight. I have eaten at some **** awesome Indian places over many years and I have to say that my lamb rogan josh tonight was amazing. Perfectly cooked meat, fresh, a lovely spice that wasn't overpowering and gently built up over the course of the meal. My wife had the same and loved it as well. We also tried the Fish Tikka and it was up to the same standard. Naans were cooked in the tandoor oven beautiful! What I love here is that none of the flavours are too much, everything was in balance and the full flavour profile was allowed to come through. Highly recommend.
We absolutely adore this restaurant. We dined here for lunch today and enjoyed the biryani, dosa, and chicken tandoori along with two Masala teas. The food was divine, authentic, and bursting with flavor, freshly prepared right onsite. Indulge in this delicious fare with an open mind, as it represents traditional South Indian cuisine. Every meal we've had at this restaurant has been incredibly tasty, and we'll definitely be back for more. The chef is simply outstanding, and the Indian waitress is incredibly kind and welcoming. We can't get enough of this place.
This restaurant is amazing! We discovered it through the Townsville vegans/vegetarians page and we are so happy we visited. My family and I tried a few dosas, armeni, and lentils the other night and everything was excellent. The staff, especially Charlotte, were very polite and friendly. The cook in the back made delicious and authentic Indian food. It reminded me of my travels in India, it's hard to find such great Indian food here in Australia. Who would have thought Kirwan would have such a gem! We will definitely be returning soon.
This is the second time this has happened to me. I travelled for half an hour to get here and when I arrived, the restaurant was closed. It is frustrating that despite Google showing the restaurant as open, it was actually closed. The restaurant should update their business hours when they will be closed on certain days to prevent wasting other people's time. It is disappointing that this information was not updated on Google. Staff are absolutely arrogant. Made a phone order and still had to wait. Paid over $60 for food and it still tasted like it was out of a microwave. Only go when you can wait at least an hour time to be served.Under staffedPriority is for phone orders.Be prepared to get something else than you ordered.Best place only to pass time.
