Good food for a soda/burger joint. They were quite busy. We were seated at a table that hadn't been fully cleaned yet. 15 minutes later my wife goes to get menus. After that a waitress was fairly prompt in getting our order but it was still a bit longer before the sanitizer and cloth were retrieved from table. Nice place but they were understaffed for amount of customers. We both got the Fonz burgers and slpit a chef salad. Sadly no fries and were out of limes for limeade. Prices average.
I haven’t dined here since my childhood, and I was delighted to find that the lime frozen I ordered took me right back to those days. The 1950s atmosphere is just as inviting as you’d hope for in a restaurant like this. The prices are reasonable, and there’s a great variety on the menu. I highly recommend this place. On my next visit, I decided to try the lemon shake, and it was perfect. I also ordered the Chubby Checker, which pairs nicely with the shake.
This diner is a true classic and a staple of Americana. They serve a variety of straightforward entrees like hot beef sandwiches, corned beef sandwiches, burgers, and more, along with Blue Bunny ice cream and homemade cakes. The hot brat beef is absolutely delicious. The owners are incredibly friendly, and the diner has a wonderfully inviting atmosphere.
This was our first visit, and it certainly won't be our last! The food was fantastic, the staff was friendly and courteous even on a busy day, and the atmosphere was fun and full of nostalgia. It made for a perfect stop for our family dinner!
Great nostalgic soda shop. Awesome food and service. Love older places that have kept true to their original character. I highly recommend everyone visit. Hot roast beef was about the best I have had.
Traditions always have great sandwiches, cakes and ice cream. I recommend getting the Big Bopper Sandwich. Roast beef, ham, cheese and grilled onions with BBQ sauce. Absolutely delicious.
I enjoyed the Reuben sandwich, which was expertly cooked and incredibly tasty. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I also loved the decor; it felt like I was transported back in time.
My grandkids and I love dining here, and the desserts are fantastic! It's a wonderful establishment, and Mike is the best!
