We were walking to Gibraltar after having parked the car and was scorching hot and we were looking for a place to eat. We practically stumbled upon this place and the food and drinks were amazing. Considering it's so close to the border of Gibraltar i somehow expected it to be expensive, but it was not. A meal for 4 with 2 jar's of Sangria, and food was only 40 euros'. Also the guy that owns the place was SUPER nice, and very friendly... enjoyed my experience!
The food is good, but nothing special. The drinks can be quite cheap, as they have different promotions and offers. When the weather is nice the location is very enjoyable, since the view of the Rock is quite nice, but they do not have proper inside area, so not really good for colder days. Also on several occasions the service was quite slow, so we'd just go to the bar ourselves.
Despite being part of a large chain the Tragatapas in La Linea manages to maintain some character because of the building and bar area.The very reasonably priced tapas are good and if you think €1.40 for a litre of San Miguel and €1.40 for a large glass of rioja is good value ! then this is the place for you!
More for the younger set than the 50+ as they play rather loud music which they turned down on request but it was a slow day. The tapas are excellent value and freshly prepared. Sun beds are über comfy. Nice views of Gibraltar and incoming flights. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We go here every visit to Spain, which is usually 2/3 times a year. Such friendly helpful lovely staff. It's always really clean. Food is great value as are the drinks. Can't praise it enough and looking forward to our next visit.
Food it's ok but not great, few dishes are too oily. The restaurant is nice and close to the center, but not too close so you can have a quiet dinner. Service it's also ok.
One of a chain of Eateries in the group, good selection of tasty well presented food and not wishing to forget a good selection of drinks !! The service was first class !!
After dipping in the freezing water to Cool off. Sat here having several beers and the largest plate of calamari ever. Change out of £10. Brilliant surprise. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The only good thing about this place is the low price of beer. Anything else (cleaning, food, service) is really poor and not worth spending a euro.
