We've eaten at this place before last time about a year ago and loved it. What a disappointing difference yesterday was. The wait to be seated wasn't too bad, but a bit longer than most restaurants. But once seated, our wait service was atrocious. Fifteen minutes before we were asked about drinks; another fifteen minutes before our order was taken, then we waiting over 30 minutes before two burgers showed up. In that full hour, we had to ask for drink refills, and when we received them 10 minutes later, we got tea but no ice! Using almost 2 hours for poor service and a couple of OK burgers? Nah... we probably won't be back.
Got our dinner to-go because I wasn’t feeling well, it is SO GOOD! I got the “hickory nut falls”, the steak dish…it’s so good. The steak is cooked to perfection, literally perfect med rare. Got the baked Mac and cheese and YALL it’s so good. My hubby got the “trail blazer” burger and destroyed it in maybe 3 minutes. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to eat here in person when we come back to town.
Food was okay, service was the worst we've had in a very long time and we strongly regret choosing this restaurant to end our visit with. Waitress was snarky and very unwelcoming, waited way too long for basic waters and waited way too long for the check. I highly recommend skipping out and heading to Goldfinch. We were treated far far better there.
I’d share a photo of my food but it’s gone lol. I got the Trailhead Burger, like usual, and it was great. Love this place. The prices aren’t as bad as people say they are either! My meal was a solid $11, and I have no complaints what so ever. Always recommend! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
What a fine! We were traveling all over NC for vacation. The fish and chips were excellent. The atmosphere is fun and everyone working there really enjoys their job!!! Our server was amazing.
Went on a Tuesday around five and was seated almost immediately. We ordered the onion rings and fish and chips and a couple of beers. Everything was great. Hot and tasty.
Food was good, wings could be a bit more crispy, my chicken sandwich was ok. Recommend getting the burger or the fried fish. Drinks were good! Very good prices

Had stopped by for the first time. Absolutely fantastic, food, service, and atmosphere. All 5 stars given to a great local restaurant.
