The greatest gastronomic heart of our stay in Menton. A small restaurant hidden away from the main street. This allows you to eat on the terrace (reservation indispensable for this while being calm. We both cracked for a Mediterranean tuna tataki at the entrance. But what a pleasure... The chef has perfectly mastered tuna cooking and seasoning. In the dish, my darling has chosen a salmon risotto (see the small size that is already very greedy and I for linguine vongole. Everything is perfect. Already well calated we do not take dessert but two cafes and last surprise: the absolutely adorable waitress throughout the service ends in apotheosis by offering us a limoncello. We have almost missed this place because we could not have one of, very few, tables outside, at the end of August. I had a tuna starter which was delicious and as a main I had two camerones some sort of a giant prawn, I found out later. It seemed more like a clawless lobster as there were only two in a portion. We met everyone in this small, family run, restaurant and will surely go back on our next visit to Menton and I assure you that will not regret it should you give it a chance to it yourselves!
Thanks to the chance that allowed us to discover this little corner of paradise for our taste buds last Thursday at the lemon festival: an excellent welcome, simple but so delicious dishes and a nice surprise at the time of the addition. The OL we are enjoyed. Do not hesitate to ask for a gourmet break you will not be disappointed.
Not easy to find but...you will be rewarded! Tierry Stephanie, the tireless and creative owners, offer a small home-style menu with a focus on seafood and various risotto.
