We sent to Trattoria for my birthday for the first time. Oak Park is closer to where my sons live, so we decided to give it a try. We had a great table in the window and our waiter was very good. Attentive without being a nuisance. Had grilled calamari (excellent), pork marsala (excellent), pizzas (very good), and desserts for everyone but the individual mini bundt cakes won the night! So good! Had a great night, definitely a repeat
Friday evening, restaurant not very busy. Friendly staff, excellent service, comfortable dining room. Foccacia bread was "doughey" and lacked flavor. Grilled mozzarella and prosciutto was tasty. Grilled salmon was a little overcooked. Delicious whipped sweet potatoes. Pork tenderloin had good flavor but was overcooked. Grilled asparagus just tasted like the grill it was cooked on
Some food was excellent, some was subpar. Service staff was helpful and attentive sometimes overly attentive with trying to clear the table too soon. Overall they were doing a great job and we appreciated their hard work. Will definitely dine there again, but will stick to our favorites.
Love this place for pizza and drinks with friends. Sat outside on a beautiful night and the traffic was a little loud but so were we. Our server was FANTASTIC. I'm sorry I can't remember her name Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Menu should have noted that salads came with entrees. Well spaced tables and very helpful staff My pork marsala was good tasting, but too salty
Me and my girlfriend had a great time. Fast and professional service, and being pet friendly was a real plus.
As always, the food was good, the atmosphere relaxing and a pleasure to bring family to.
