This is the best Italian restaurant I have been to in Maryland. The food is perfect and the staff is very kind and attentive. Ivan and Matteo have served us in the past and have been kind and gracious. This place focuses on great authentic food without being overly pricy and snobby. We ate at Trattoria da Lina and were greeted by the chef who made us feel welcome. When seated, we asked the chef what he would recommend. He suggested the daily special we ordered the Sardinian fregola and the grouper dishes. With the food, we ordered a bottle of red wine from Sardinia recommended also by the chef. The dishes and the wine were superb selections it was worth the price! We will definitely return at Trattoria da Lina.
The food here is quite good, but I struggle to understand how they can justify charging $26 for just 6 pieces of ravioli (and yes, that’s the exact count). It's disappointingly overpriced, which is unfortunate because I enjoyed their food enough that I would have considered ordering from them regularly. I recommend you think twice before dining here; you might end up spending $100 and still leave feeling hungry.
We were really excited about our visit and the meal. Even though we were seated at a table for two right next to the kitchen, the salmon and cheese ravioli were delicious. On the other hand, the fried calamari was a bit tough. Despite that, we would definitely come back again. Just had one of the best Italian meals in decades!! Our server (I believe his name was George), was friendly, made great suggestions and was very attentive. The food was authentic and the portions were large. We also asked for something not on the menu and they were able to accommodate the request. Just a great all-around meal. We also took a loaf of warm, fresh bread home!

Refreshingly exceptional service as great as the food. We felt welcomed and cozy, and the broccoli was perfectly done and outstanding. Incredibly kind to my toddler, including awesome kid cup and sweet interactions. Can't wait to go back. Yum.
