I am so lucky to live within walking distance of this restaurant. It is a small neighbourhood Italian that punches well above its weight both for food and service. I have tried most things on the menu and have never made a bad choice. Their pizzas are spectacular dough which is tasty, springy and light with a crispy bottom, absolutely perfect for dipping in your friend's spag bol! They make their own secret recipe tomato sauce, which is AMAZING. (Actually it's not a secret recipe at all Raff will happily share how he makes it, but it sounds more intriguing as a secret! Have past this place a million times and thought it didn’t look particularly special, it was always heaving on the weekends so thought it must be a hidden gem. My god is it!! The reviews are all true, a family run, authetic Italian serving incredibly high quality and delicious food. The inside is intimate and adorably genuine. Service was excellent (small critique: we waited a tiny bit too long for our starters but it was an anomaly and our server dealt with it perfectly we didn’t mind because we were enjoying the atmosphere so much). We ordered exclusively from the specials board and were not disappointed. Feel so lucky to have this place on our doorstep!
This was my third visit and I have to say it just gets better every time , tonight I asked for Arabiata spaghetti off the menu and oh my goodness it was the best one I have had since Spaghetti Classics in Brixton closed ! I’m so happy to have found this small gem of a restaurant and the staff are delightful too . It’s my new go to place , don’t go if you want flashybecause it isn’t like that it’s authentic and real . I’m happy and a devotee
I really have to rescind for 1 star review for not being able to book the day the restaurant closed. I found the restaurant on Facebook. And booked a table that way. The welcome was excellent. The food just what you'd want excellent. I had slow roasted pork belly. Really Italian. Will I I be here during my next visit? Definitely Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
What a lovely, well run, friendly family restaurant.Food is excellent, always fresh specials on offer.They will make whatever changes you want to any of the pizzas, or pasta, which are all delicious.the italian sausage is fantastic and well worth adding to any dish in my opinion
Lovely family run restaurant. Great home cooked food and lots of choice on menu plus daily specials. Cosy, relaxed atmosphere perfect for catching up with friends, a family evening or relaxed date night.
What can I say, what an experience! We were welcomed with a warm welcome and open arms. The food was fantastic and from start to finish and the staff were fantastic. It’s a must go!
