We went this past Sunday for the 1st time, and walked into an attractive restaurant with very good service and nice music. We sat in the bar area and started off with the eggplant rollatini and pumpkin arancini. The eggplant was tasty and ricotta velvety-smooth. The eggplant was sliced a little thicker than I prefer, however, and wasn't quite cooked all the way through. The creamy sherry vinaigrette drizzled atop the arancini (tasty as well) was sparse also. The chicken piccata was very good and contained plenty of capers. Unfortunately, the veal parmesan was pounded so thin it was completely overtaken by the thick breading, which was also overly salty. Just short of being a favorite, I would give it a solid 4.7. We stopped here based on GPS recommendations during our travels. The atmosphere was intimate, the servers were prompt, and the drinks from the bar were quite nice. We started with the arancini appetizer, which was a unique take on the traditional larger version. Instead, we were served four small rice balls mixed with a mayo blend, as the server explained. It was interesting to note that their arancini recipe changes regularly. We went several times for happy hour which was a great deal and tasty however they then catered our rehearsal dinner and everything was fantastic. The guests loved the food. The amount of food far exceeded in our opinion the amount of people we were serving and it was meant to serve based on the catering menu. Luke delivered everything timely and even brought us dishes to take home the leftovers. He reached out to me a week before to confirm out order and accommodated our allergy concerns. Do NOT order for delivery from this restaurant! This is no accountability or system for orders going out. The lack of caring was shameful. When asked about a refund Luke said he would try ? to do the refund. Needs a better system of food going out and orders being taken. Fantastic food and excellent service! I dined in for dinner and found the experience wonderful. The average price per person is around $30-$50. I would rate the food a solid 5, the service another 5, and the atmosphere also a perfect 5. I highly recommend trying Nonna's Meatballs and the Clams!
The food and service were outstanding on this busy Friday night! I had the cioppino, and my husband enjoyed the osso buco. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for such a delightful dining experience!
