I have eaten here many times with relatives. The cafe is nice, open, and modern. It can get busy sometimes, it's informal, family friendly, and has a corner area where dogs are welcome. Also an outdoor eating area. Lovely staff. The food is good, and reasonably priced. There is always a couple of vegetarian and gluten free breakfast, main and side options. And usually one vegan option for breakfast, main and side too. Worth checking the menu for specials. There is always some kind of vegan cake, usually flapjack, but sometimes something more exciting, and always sorbet too. Vegetarians are very well catered for. First, you have to wait for what seems like a long time. People wonder why it takes so long, and it's because the older customer at the front of the line spent twenty minutes waiting without actually bothering to look at the menu. This means they take even longer to decide. When you finally reach the front of the line, the wait continues until the food arrives. When it eventually does, it's not bad at all (I had the quinoa super salad). However, one or two beers would have certainly made the wait more bearable. I recently visited this restaurant and had a frustrating experience. It took about 10 minutes just to place an order for coffee, only to find out that they didn't have their own cup. Additionally, they charge an extra 55 pence for vegetable milk, and a regular coffee costs £3.80. There were also no gluten-free options available. The food looked delicious, but unfortunately, there was nothing I could eat!
I was here for the day and was very pleased when going to the cafe and seeing the vegan options. There were hot cold offerings with varying prices. I had a yummy avocado, broccoli and quinoa salad as well as a bowl of chips. The food was very good. The cafe is big and bright with outdoor seating and an area for dogs. Unfortunately the menu they have listed online is out of date.

Two main choices for lunch a vegan burger or soup of the day, which was curried vegetable (you have to specify you'd like the vegan option today it had sour cream) Not convinced it was vegan, and left the spread that was in a pot on the side for the bread. Would've loved a sandwich or salad!

The cakes are delightful, and the service was excellent, even though the staff seemed busy during our visit. It's a shame there aren't more vegan options at a place that promotes sustainability. Hopefully, more will be added in the future.

Canteen style restaurant with hot dishes delivered to table (but ordered in queue). The vegetable flan was satisfying and presented with salad and coleslaw felt balanced and satisfying. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
I only had a chocolate muffin and a coffee and I'd recommend both. There were lots of vegan options on the menu and their daily changing soup is always vegan.
