The Tredegar Arms - Tisch reservieren

We went here for a meal for our last night in Newport. The table was reserved but the location of the table is not great. The fireplace was directly in the way of the seat and my son banged his head quite hard. Terrible position. Table 15 FYI. Also it was 7.30pm and the lighting was not great. I had to use my phone light at one point just to read the menu. The lights were turned on eventually but they hardly made a difference. I could hardly see my food. However, the food was very nice and came out quickly. The staff were top notch too.

Such a shame, been looking forward to trying here for ages, Went today to enjoy Easter Sunday lunch but it was such a disappointment We were a table of 5 so opened a tab, we ordered two sharing starters one came quickly the other came 10 minutes after the first just as my parents were eating their starters the mains came out, but only 3 out of 5 dinners we waited another 10 minutes before the other mains came out. The pub was freezing

I had a table at the TA Bassaleg for my birthday celebrations. The staff were amazing, and couldn’t be more accommodating. The food was lovely and we were able to stay at our table from 2pm to close, next to a log burner!! The resident dog is gorgeous and loves a cuddle, and the pub has a lovely warm family feel x

Had dinner with my son yesterday, kids pizza was a Chicago town pizza stuck in the microwave. Lasagne was burnt and chewy. Staff were not very friendly. Very overpriced for quality of food

2nd visit since Christmas. My order was wrong I didn't send it back but did inform them. Pie filling lovely but pastry I could not cut in parts. I would order this again though
