We had an outstanding visit at Trio Bistro last night! Amanda, our server, was really upbeat and knowledgable about the menu. She suggested the Crab Cakes, and we also ordered the Steak Frites. Both were wonderful- the steak a perfect medium rare, and the crab cakes were really flavorful with more crab than bread crumbs. I definitely recommend this restaurant!
We were instantly seated and that was about the gist of it. We sat there for five minutes and no one came over other than to offer us water. We finally decided to get up and go to another local eatery that we knew we would enjoy. That is very unusual for trio as it’s always been a staple for us one in DC.
This duo loves Trio! A fun and inviting restaurant with great outdoor seating and a yummy menu. We live in DuPont and never hesitate to pop into Trio for a quick drink or a nice meal. Definitely worth the stop, as there is something for everyone on the menu! They also have awesome brunch deals

Service was good but the quality of food extremely poor. Penne jambalaya was very oily are better greasy with practically no taste. There were very few people around and now I understand why. I will never go there again.
Great service and a varied menu which allowed all in our party to find something they wanted. Although it was a Saturday night, the restaurant was quiet which was great for conversation.
