I enjoy this bar. Never had any issues until a bartender didn't like a comment of someone I met the night before. The 2 of them started arguing. Very unprofessional. I had to get between them. I removed him from the bar. It was simple and done. Went there yesterday to say goodbye to the patrons and my favorite bartender. She shows up and tells me I am banned.Ok? I leave and go to the store across the street. Another patron overheard my conversation. He said the same thing that I will always think about your bartender. She is bad business. She caters to her friends. I sat for 25 minutes once waiting on a drink. In my opinion. Do not go to this place while Bianca is there. Hopefully the owner...
I’d like to share my experience at Tropica Café. I ordered a chicken fajita quesadilla with only chicken and cheese. When it arrived, I thought I detected mushrooms in it. After confirming with some friends, who agreed, I returned it to the bar because I’m allergic to mushrooms. The bartender was very kind and assured me he would handle it. However, five minutes later, my quesadilla returned—this time handled by someone else—who insisted there were no mushrooms in it. I was disappointed to find that at least two people had touched my order. Additionally, I noticed many menu items contain mushrooms. Overall, the experience was quite frustrating.

Tropica Café is one of the town’s most underrated karaoke bars! It might not be a five-star venue, but that’s not the main draw. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the food is better than expected—definitely give the ribs or pulled pork a try. The vibe is your classic dive bar, and the bartenders can be hit or miss. All in all, this has become my favorite karaoke spot, surpassing Chaplin's every time.

I tried Tropica Café for the first time tonight and it was quite good. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and a house salad, while my husband went for the steak quesadilla. The salad was so large that we shared it and still had some left over. The menu is a bit pricey, but this place might become one of our go-to late-night spots nearby. However, they forgot to bring our fries and utensils.
This place is one of the most slept on karaoke bars in town! Sure it?s not a five-star establishment, but nobody comes there for that. Drinks are reasonable, food is great surprisingly (try the ribs or pulled pork) and the company is your typical dive barwith some badass bartenders. This has become my karaoke spot over Chaplins hands down.
Helen is fantastic at Tropica Café! The food and drinks are excellent and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, with pool, keno, and music adding to the fun. It's a wonderful local bar with great regulars.
I would give Tropica Café 5 stars, even though I haven't had the chance to eat here yet! The ambiance is stunning, and I'm excited to taste the food. The owner is also very welcoming!

I always have a great time here! Good food and great music. Helen is my favorite bartender, she always makes sure I am taken care of when I am there.
