This little food cart is conveniently close to a main parking lot, bathrooms, and the general center hub of Rockaway. The menu is simple and straightforward. Rice, chicken or beef teriyaki, mac salad, assortment of chips and drinks. I thought the price was right and the a meat generous amount. Delicious! Also, the owner was super nice and had great customer service. The wait time for food is very short! Note for the diehard foodie or true Islander: you may not think it is authentic . My Hawaiian husband would have nit picked over the rice. But for most everyone else, it will be just delicious.
Overall, the food was good. The chicken and macaroni salad were decent, but neither stood out as particularly exciting or memorable. On the other hand, the pork and slaw were truly excellent. I also appreciated the option of spicy teriyaki. The portion sizes were generous, making it a great value. Placing an order online was straightforward, and the food was ready right on time. I recommend using online ordering during peak dinner hours, as the line can get quite long and a bit chaotic. We're just visiting, but we explore the state often and will definitely return.
This place is fantastic! The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly, whether you're there during work or afterward. I really enjoy the generous portions of the mac salad. I plan to keep coming back all season long. When they're closed, I find myself craving their food. Thank you!
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious! The Hawaiian teriyaki combined with the pork made it the best I've ever had. OMG this place is legit amazing. We had the combo plate and everything was really good, like the best bbq we have had! Pineapple Coleslaw is also amazing. Do yourself a favor and skip the expensive sit down restaurants and get some take out here! You won’t regret it!
Service was good and fast. Chicken and pork tasted great, but the mac salad was sub par. Seemed like they only added carrots, celery, mayo and pepper. Also the prices were pretty high comparing its a food cart. Its suppose to be cheap.
Dollar general store in Rockaway beach has teriyaki chicken stir fry cup noodles the taste is similar I think someone gave some information to top ramen and nissin asian
