the meal here has revived my ghosts so much! the friendly owner told me everything on the menu and helped me to choose very well. the red scorpion fish (2nd option on the fish menu) was the best dish that I had on my month lonely trip through Spain. it was simple, fresh, made to house and the texture is perfect. I loved trying the local quinces-Jelly, paired with cheese and nuts, it had a multi-layered taste. the restaurant has a vaulted ceiling and a beautiful, almost monastic atmosphere, but all the diners were native and many came from themselves. large selection of food. the set menu includes 2 main dishes dessert, brot, water and drinks (50cl wein or beer). eating is very typical and the owner can recommend which to choose. the olive oil they used is made by his wife. it is all very local and they can say from customers that this is a very popular place for the workers. we were very satisfied with the simpleness of food and quality. the quantity is also there and they will not leave this place hungry. we paid 13 € per person and that was one of the best places we had eaten throughout Spain.

Restaurante de toda la vida, gente cercana, comida casera de la zona, productos de la zona del emporda, en fin, si vuelvo a Figueres seguramente repita, recomendable.
