Marygreen Manor is a tucked away gem. My aunt and I had afternoon tea in the beautiful gardens rather than the conservatory because it was such a hot day. The waiter who served us (Peter? was so kind and attentive, and made sure we had lots to eat. He's a real credit to the restaurant. We had a varied selection of sandwiches, some made specially because I don't eat meat, and a generous amount of cream with the scones. Then we finished with 4 little cakes each which were as good as I've tasted in a West End hotel. Thoroughly recommended. I will even bring my MIL one day!
The staff at this restaurant is wonderful and helpful. The ambiance is relaxing and of a very high quality. However, I was disappointed to find that most of the cakes felt mass produced. The scones were fabulous, but I would have preferred more homemade cakes for the price.
The food at Mary Green is fantastic, and the friendly staff are very attentive. The restaurant's cozy and comfortable setting makes for a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Good food. Afternoon tea for our anniversary. Staff really good. If I could suggest one thing, maybe a little background music. Some piano music maybe.
The restaurant manager Vic looked after all our needs and had a good sense of humour- a real asset to the company. The food was to die for- very tasty
