The first thing to say is that there are about five or six main vegan dishes and everything is well labelled. The extensive drinks menu is also clearly labelled whether they are vegan or not which is a big plus. Visited two Turtle Bay 's recently, and on both times the food was very average. Had the aubergine curry and the Jamaican run down (butternut squash in a coconut spiced sauce with rice and peas). Both times thought it was 'okay ' at best. Service was a bit lacking (not the fault of the servers) with lack of availability of many drinks. Glad they are trying to cater for vegans but food is nothing special
Really enjoyed our first time at Turtle Bay. We ordered most the options. Two starters and main each. Most the food was too hot for my partner, so be sure to say when ordering if you want to have mild chilli. I loved my options. He had vegan burger and I had a delicious salad dish with faux meat. We went at 5pm and It's happy hour so was really busy with big groups getting 241. Bit too loud if you're wanting a bit of a date haha but for me the food was lovely. The music was chilled. I had a great experience at this restaurant with a good selection of gluten-free options. The staff were attentive, providing me with an allergy menu to ensure everything was gluten free, including the drinks menu. They took excellent care of me while I enjoyed some delicious Caribbean cuisine.
The jerk tofu was delicious, served with delicious spiced fries, and the curry aubergine was quite nice too, but needed more flavour. It probably has one of the most vegan offerings for a high street chain of restaurants in Preston Updated from previous review on 2022-04-02

We asked if the restaurant could accommodate for gluten-free, but were told they couldn't really do so. We decided to go somewhere else. Should this restaurant be listed on a gluten-free website?
I and my sister had a great time at the groundless brunch. becky was so attentive and we were never left without drinking. great waitress, will definitely return
