I was excited to find a pizza place that offers options for someone with an egg, tree nut, soy, and milk allergy. I accidentally ordered the regular version of “My Brilliant Vegan Friend”. However, Noah helped us get the correct pizza and was so kind and understanding. Thanks Noah! I highly recommend this place to all- vegan or non-vegan! They also have delicious fountain sodas because they aren’t your typical sprite, coke, etc.
One of the best vegan slices in the city. Portion size is large and the price fair (unlike other places), not to mention the array of available options. The V for vegan was delicious; that cornmeal dough was too good and the toppings were fresh and tasty. Good amount of melted cheese too which is hard to come by especially when it comes to dairy-free cheeses.
I grew up eating Two Boots pizza on Avenue A. I especially miss the restaurant across the street that served the popcorn crawfish . I'm happy to have been blessed to have eaten at all three locations on avenue A. Whenever I have family/friends from out of town visit and want NYC pizza, I always suggest Two Boots!
Lady behind the counter was really great! Steered me towards trying something other than just pepperoni since they had a lot of different kinds. Had a couple of different slices and some garlic knots. Pizza was good, knots were a bit too on the greasy side. Overall though, really enjoyed it. Neat atmosphere too.
Two Boots has fallen off a little with the consistency of their slices since I frequented them years ago, but still have good flavors and combinations. Love that they have multiple vegan options now. V for Vegan is always a go-to for me. Tony Clifton is also solid, just wish the crust wasn't soggy
Pretty inventive slices including some vegan choices. I got a Tony Clifton slice with sweet red pepper and onion . There's crunchy cornmeal I think under the pizza . Definitely different. On Avenue A . There's cool red booths too though the music they play leaves a lot to be desired .
fast and delicious. Got the family feast for me and my bf and it was so much food for $30’well worth it! Tasty large pizza, two big salads, 4 crispy cookies, and 4 garlic knots. Only thing that i would prefer the garlic knots to be more garlicky and were a little dry. But still good
The place is just amazing to chill and relax.. The cashier is super nice and Johnny( we remember you) is great. We are vegetarians and ordered medium margarita pizza and 3 root beers. It was just amazing... We sat there for like 2-3 hours and had a really good time
By far some of the most unique pizza I have had in New York. If you are coming here, definitely opt into getting a specialty slice over a plain. Highly recommend giving The Buckminster a shot!
