Sheesh…where do I begin? When you walk into this establishment you are immediately greeted with a rich atmosphere, seeping with the promise of a perfectly crafted cocktail. I have visited a few times and have yet to be disappointed. I’m a simple drinker, vodka gimlet is all I ask. The man behind the bar always delivers a beautifully chilled, full bodied gimlet. It is clear he has trained his staff to exceed expectations, as in his absence I was lucky enough to still be served a perfectly tailored cocktail. If you want consistency in your drinks, great pricing, and the feeling of dark academia to linger with you. This is your spot. 5/5. 10/10.

GR. stepping into this bar feels like your witchy little paradise. the vibes are immaculate and the drinks taste divine (i have yet to get a bad one). but i think what makes this place better than the rest is their service. tonight was a great example where the bartender was lovely but the bar was a little busy and one of the other bartenders was there even on his night OFF and helped out to help things run smoother. it just goes to show how much the employees care and love this place too.
Everything associated with Two James: their different types of bottles, the Detroit distillery location and Supergeil (TJ's restaurant across the street from their Detroit location) is FIRST class. The same holds true for their Grand Rapids location. Probably been here a dozen+ times and the service behind the bar is always outstanding. Also you can purchase the entire line of bottles saving a long trip across state to the east side. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This is the best cocktail bar in Grand Rapids. The team here truly knows what they're doing. I always feel a bit hesitant to review places like this because they surpass my expectations. The staff is exceptional. On multiple occasions, the bartender has crafted custom drinks just from my suggestions. The atmosphere and music are fantastic—definitely better than anything I could come up with. Plus, having Dr. Bird on the menu is a bonus; it’s easily one of the top five spirits under $30.

In addition to tastings, great cocktails and knowledge bartenders. 3rd wave Craft cocktails all fresh ingredients. They've got all the bitters. It was nice and quiet when I went, with staff of 2. A little dark for my eyes but it's a cool place; no reason to rate it any less than 5.
Bad service. Guy literally fished the orange peel out of the mixed drink with his bare hands to transfer to another drink. Was very rude when we tried to cash out saying he isn’t technically working. Then why are you behind the bar?
