Headed out to Pakington Street on Saturday for lunch - wanted a nice experience as it was for a friends birthday. Tried two cafes along Pakington and we just ended up leaving due to poor service, dirty tables, poor menu choices. Ended up at Two Sugars - WOW so glad we did. The service was wonderful, the staff were quick, efficient and very friendly. The menu was so action packed I didn't know where to go - decided on mushroom/chicken risotto which was cooked to perfection. My friend had the veal saltimbocca with seasonal veg - she did not stop raving about it the whole time she was eating it!!!! Have been to this restaurant four times this year.The food and variety of is amazing ,the service is in line with the food and it is extremely clean.We eat out a lot and this is an amazing find, Can recommend the Hawthorne Pork as a main and the steamed buns as an entree.
This street is constantly undergoing upgrades to the merchants trading along the strip. It is the want to be shopping strip and is pulling sleepy, old manufacturing Geelong into a contemporary cosmo town. Keeping going all you various traders - especially the foodies.
