The food was good, but the service really let it down. We had originally booked for 20:45, then agreed we would come at 21:00 when it was more quiet but then didn’t get seated until 2120. The man who took our order was quite patronising and borderline rude. When I asked for our steak to be cooked medium rare, he asked me to clarify a couple of times and then insisted on showing me a picture of what medium rare steak looked like… as if I hadn’t eaten a steak before. Then when I ordered fries to share he again checked with me and then my husband that I was sure I only wanted one portion of fries. lot of pretence of the supervision of great chef MB but reality is disappointing. too much show, not enough on the details staff is friendly and hard working but there is something disorganized, they keep asking what you want to drink but take 20 minute to actually bring the first drink. details that your basic local steak house knows how to get right steak was nice but so much fat and bone around it that the 800g steak was actually very small for sharing In the same hotel there is an Italian restaurant that does a phenomenal ribeye which I thought was much better. so here is a top tip: if you are staying at the RitzCarlton and fancy a steak, go to italian restaurant Verona!!
Ya son nuestras terceras vacaciones en este hotel y siempre venimos a cenar a este restaurante. Los platos son muy especiales, convirtiendo una sencilla presa ibérica en un gran manjar gracias a la manera de tratar el plato, o el impresionante tartar de tomate, que parece que estuvieras comiendo un tartar de solomillo de carne roja de gran calidad (por poner un par de ejemplos). Pero lo que de verdad hace que la cena sea toda una experiencia es Aaron. Su manera de tratar a los clientes, de explicar cada plato y de asesorar en función de los gustos de los comensales es realmente única. Gracias por tres cenas magníficas! Volveremos el año que viene!
Following a very disappointing dinner, we decided to return to this restaurant for lunch to give it another chance, and this time we were not disappointed at all. Our son had a cheeseburger and we both had the club sandwich, all very generous portions, beautifully presented and very delicious. We also shared a passion fruit panna cotta for desert which was amazing. From the moment we were seated Karim and his staff went above and beyond making this the most memorable lunch of our entire holiday. The truth is, it's the right time we come. We loved it, the service was excellent. special mention to the rafael metre. that takes a lot of dedication and pamper with the customers, we have seen him from afar dealing with a difficult couple and the behavior has been of a professional.
