I made a reservation for Sunday lunch last month as my daughter's friend was visiting from London. We decided to try Ty Fry restaurant as we had driven past it several times and always thought we should give it a try. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and shown to a table for four by a window overlooking the village. We ordered our drinks and meals, as they only serve Sunday lunches on Sundays with a choice of meat. The generous portions arrived soon after and we all enjoyed our delicious meal. The roast potatoes were outstanding, crispy and light. There was plenty of choice for desserts, which were also delicious. The service was excellent. We will definitely be booking again soon.
Food and welcoming was fantastic. We booked a last minute table and as soon as we entered we were welcomed with open arms. We ordered drinks and sat down, the menu was just Sunday lunch, which saved me as I'm hugely fussy when picking from a menu. It had all the favourite meats, with all the trimmings, we'd ordered extra roasties. Food arrived in good time and the veg was served in hot separate dishes with an extra pot of gravy. Food was 5 star, too the point we ordered a desert. Prices were perfect, it worked out roughly £14 for a 2 course meal. The whole table said we'd of paid a lot more due to the quality. Overall we definetly will be back.
Meeting up with family that came up from down south. Phoned Ty Fry Inn asked if they could do lunch for 16 on a Saturday no problem. We sent our orders the day before. When we arrived we were showed our tables go some drinks. The food all came out together and hot. Some of us had pudding also all came out together. Brian was friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed our meals no complaints. My husband was pleased with his and he is very fussy. We would definitely go back. If we lived nearer would be there every week. Good value.
Just returned from a weekend away at Bodwyllan Castle with friends to celebrate my husband's 65th birthday. We walked down into the village of Bodwyllan on Sunday and came across this delightful pub with the most friendly hosts. The menu that day was only Sunday dinners but they were happy to make up a platter of pork beef and ham sandwiches for us delicious chips and a jug of gravy. Just to add the lounge area and toilets were spotlessly clean. If ever we are in that area again we will definitely return Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We visited Ty fry inn on Saturday afternoon. 16 of us met up as family were up from down south and staying by the castle. This pub was near to the family staying over and could accommodate 16 of us. We pre ordered our food and to our surprise all food came out at the same time and all piping hot. No one had a bad comment about the food. The Barman and server Brian was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely call at the pub again when we visit the coast
We came across this pub as we were having a walk into the village with friends whilst we were staying at nearby Bodelwyddan Castle. We had a wonderful welcome from the owners who made us a platter of sandwiches and chips with a jug of gravy (even though they were only serving Sunday lunch). The food was really tasty and went down a treat. The pub was also spotlessly clean. We will certainly return when we are in the area again.
The food at this restaurant is outstanding, with creatively prepared traditional dishes. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere is friendly thanks to the welcoming locals and staff. The historic premises have been recently refurbished to a high standard. The location, just off A55 in Bodelwyddan, is easy to access. We were out for a walk when we stumbled upon this charming and welcoming pub. The owners and staff went above and beyond to take care of us and made us feel very welcome. The sandwiches and chips were delicious, even though we were just looking for a snack. Highly recommend stopping by when visiting the castle, which is only a 20-minute walk away. Popped in tonight by chance on the way to Snowdon, the kitchen had just closed but the Manager said he couldn’t see us without food and asked the chef to serve us, great service? Food was lovely as was the Manager, thank you so much appreciated
