It was a lunchtime. We were interested in visiting the U Cafe Di A Mossa later that evening for a meal, as we had seen some appealing meals being taken out to other tourists on the terrace. As there were a lot of seats available, we stood poised to ask if we could stop for a drink only at that particular time. However, the lady serving, walked past us twice, ignoring us. Once seated, I politely, asked for two drinks in my basic french. The same woman became visibly frustrated and for some reason, angry with me saying that she did not understand making me feel most uncomfortable and embarrassed by her attitude. For two weeks whilst in Corsica, I had experienced no problems in cafes or restaur...
in our journey and seeking to eat the country's cuisine we stopped in this restaurant with great joy because sympathy and generosity are at your meeting. We were greeted very nicely, the dishes were tasty. we had chosen to taste the specialties of the charcuterie and the Corsican cheeses with salad with châtaignes whose sauce is exceptional! accompanied by a charcuterie board. desserts pleasantly surprised us, as much the tiramisu for my man who loves his flavor and for me the chestnut melts on a melting chocolate base that will relive my taste buds. and here we are at the coffee with a team that offers them in a gift of 2 glasses of liqueur with a generously filled myrrrta! what a great tim...
the welcome was very user-friendly with a smiling server and the kindness of the boss. well placed restaurant with a beautiful view of the mountains. the service has been adapted according to our request. small recommendation to the pig with trampl. an additional 90 euros for 4 dishes, 3 drinks, 2 desserts and a coffee. Don't change anything.
I've not eaten here...but as it's 5 minutes walk from where I live its a good spot for an aperitif as the view from the terrace is fantastic...looking out over the bay of Calvi. Its also used by many locals.....credit cards are now accepted also. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The very good food, the great view of the bay of Calvi, from the top servers and village atmosphere, I strongly recommend! Very nice map, good beer, good wine, a very good address
A very nice place on a site where you can see the sunset. I even recommend walking in the streets behind.
