U Museu - Tisch reservieren

We went to this restaurant also thanks to the very good reviews of TripAdvisor. Bad mistake. We were 2 adults 2 kids on 10-08-19. The kids took the kid menu with burgers which, sadly, were the only good thing on the table. We opted for the menu corse choosing different things to taste. Appetizer: chestnut soup with pork belly and veggie tarte tatin. Main course: boar stew (civet de sanglier) and trout. Common trait: everything lacked salt. Totally tasteless. Going through them one-by-one: chestnut soup was simply disgusting, they uses some bad quality pork belly or did not remove the hair from the skin... I don 't know but it tasted like burnt hair. Of all the restaurants we tried in Corte, this was by far, the best. The setting is magical next to the old citadel and the cuisine is truly outstanding. You feel welcome from the moment you arrive and the service is excellent. Every dish from the appetizer to the main course and dessert are delicious and beautifully plated. I would give U Museu our highest recommendation and hope we can return again soon.

Fixed price menu €19 is good value especially with the trout...the terrace and very friendly waitress just added to the enjoyment! Just next to one of the Citadel entrances so perfect to follow with lunch or dinner Just next to the entrance to the Citadel so a perfect combination with lunch or dinner

Finally we got out of the tourist trap of bad restaurants! There you get fast service, tasteful dishes and dishes that lives up to their promises. Good wine. Nice surroundings. Friendly waiters.

Good experience in Corte. Nice spot, good food, and awesome staff. Completely worth it, I’d recommend you stop by for homemade Corsican food.
