We sat at the bar, where the two young ladies working seemed more focused on their own conversation than on the customers. There were several people eating and drinking at the bar, yet one of the staff members spent most of her time on her phone and appeared indifferent to the customers. She seemed aware that it's a busy place in the mall and that there will be a steady flow of customers, which probably contributed to her attitude. Unfortunately, our food was cold, making the whole experience disappointing. As locals, we won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place to others. Absolutely terrible experience. We were rushed from the moment we sat down, with the waitress dropping off the bill and boxes before we even asked! We were only inside for 15 minutes. The food was clearly microwaved, the booth and table were sticky, and to top it off, we paid $18 for a burger without fries! The waitress also forgot to put in our order for mozzarella sticks, which I’ve now read have been making people sick. ? I can’t believe this place has 4 stars. Wouldn’t recommend and will never visit again! ?
Can’t rate the service low enough for the 1 star average but that destroyed our experience. Ordered beers and the supposedly famous clam chowder took ~30 40 min. Soup was like Campbell’s vegetable soup with a few pieces of (albeit tender) clam along with several shell pieces. The waitress accidentally knocked stuff off our table twice, acknowledged it, then left it for us to pick up. Given other reviews maybe just don’t go late night (we went ~11).
Beware of tourist traps! The food was average at best and not prepared to order. Condiments came in single-use containers. Our server was kind, but the service was slow. If you're looking for a quick meal without any expectations, this might be the spot for you. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This place is a must see in Cape May. Easy access walking, driving or Uber. Eat outside to people watch. Gluten free options. Attentive staff great service and the food is wonderful. In a hurry? Order take out and zip in and out. Great drinks too
Dining outdoors in Cape May on a sunny 72-degree day is delightful, but enjoying a generous roast beef and Swiss sandwich on toasted marble rye takes it to the next level! The service is friendly too!
Food quality was what you'd expect from a $5 food truck but at 3x the cost. Nice atmosphere and staff but food was very disappointing.
