Very good shaved ice, but some of the sirups tasted artificial. It misses real fruit taste unfortunately… We took medium one- Local Motion flavor. It was good but there was something missing in the taste. Second one was Coconut Lovers. Coconut taste wasn’t overpowering. It was really refreshing and fruity. The third one was No Ka Oi- passion fruit in that one was the best taste! I’m glad four of us took only three portions because they were huge and we were all full!This place is located in Downtown Kona, and at noon there was not a lot of people. We could easily sit down and enjoy refreshing ice.
This was one of several shave ice places I tried while on the big island. The ice was smooth and fine (no chunks at all)! I got vanilla ice cream in the bottom and the rainbow flavors (strawberry, pineapple, and blue raspberry) with a snow cap!The place was empty when I went which was nice, we were in and out and able to enjoy our shave ice outside on the beach! Parking: There is a small parking lot and it’s paid. I’d recommend walking to this place after parking a ways away on the street!
I loved it here! They give them a selection of up to 3 aromes along with other toppings/add-ins. in contrast to other reviews I didn't find it too sweet. I have the passion over and vanilla with vanilleeis and a snow cap. I guess if they are looking for an irrigated snowball/iros, this place is not for them? this place surely packs in taste. back to home, I would have to ask for extra taste / dish just what I got here. I recommend this place very much!
Expensive $10 each) and synthetic, gross flavors and awful wooden spoon paddle instead of a spoon. The lemon is terrible it smells like pine sol and it's just sugary yellow dye with no hints of lemon. It was too gross to eat so I just threw it out. The guava and passion fruit had no distinguishable flavor but we're passable. Location isn't great inside of a run down hotel and there is no available bathroom.

This was my favorite shave ice during my trip! They have several locations throughout the islands. I love their ube flavor but they have so many to choose from. I would recommend a scoop of ice cream in the bottom (I liked macadamia nut but they have options) and a snow cap on top.
I've tried other places and this one is by far the best. The way they poke holes in it and then pour the flavors in doesn't leave any blank places like all the other places I've tried. Their syrup isn't sickly sweet.
do not waste their time to visit other ice places. I don't think you can hit this place. their aromen are actually flavorful! not only colors on ice. that is one has to travel to kona on my next trip.
