First off, this is one of the Best Sushi experiences that I have had. The Omakase option is a must try. The artfulness, creativity and choice ingredients are extremely satisfying. Each piece is made with so much care and leaves you in a state of almost meditation, as you take in the experience. Chef Evan Lin is also one of the most personable people I have ever had serve me in that capacity. He is genuine and really takes his time to make sure you are having an experience worthy of praise. Part of me wants to keep this hidden gem all to myself, but the other part knows that when you encounter something really special, you have to share it. Umami Sushi is incredibly unassuming but the food and service is top notch. We love coming here with- and without- our kids, and can confidently say it’s one of the best Omakase experiences we’ve ever had. I promise you won’t be disappointed! Phenomenal sushi experience at the sushi bar with the chef. Each piece was expertly prepared with unique flavors. Truly authentic and high end- better than any other place I’ve tried in Westchester.
