Our server was great and the food was also delicious. I had the salad with ranch dressing, which was very tasty. My companion and I ordered the Elk Manhattan and the Bone-in Ribeye. The ribeye was delicious, though I have had better at the same price point. The elk was a great novelty to try and paired well with the blueberry, but it was lukewarm and a bit tough to chew. If I were to have it again, I would ask for it to be cooked a little longer. When you're paying $60 for a dish, it should be perfect. The sides were good and the complimentary bread was fresh but a bit bland. Overall, it was worth a try.
The ambiance and decor of this restaurant are stunning. We were pleasantly surprised by the live music playing, which added to the calming atmosphere without being too loud. The drinks were excellent; I highly recommend trying the "Livin' In a Pear" cocktail - it's delicious. The mussels were fantastic, and the portion was so generous it could easily feed three people. The sirloin steak with truffle was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. I can't wait to come back with my girlfriends next time!
Menu was limited for a large event but we weren't notified ahead of time, kitchen was slow, and food came out cold. The manager removed items from our bill to compensate for missing part of the concert but the value was still poor. Our server was working hard to compensate for the kitchen.
Quiet Friday night, enjoyed live music. Walleye cakes were good only two on the small side. Thankful I wasn't sharing. Soup was flavorful, some potatoes were a bit underdone. Would have preferred the strawberry shortcake to have fresh sliced strawberries. The drink was well made.
