Uncle John's Place

We are from out of town and decided to check this place out since it was one of the top rated restaurants in the area. I read on another review about staff not being friendly or 'bubbly ' and I could agree slightly but that doesn 't mean they were rude or poor servers. We came as a party of 6 and they got us a table ready right away and it wasn 't that bad of a wait for our food to come out. All our food came out together and it was all hot and fresh and that 's not even bragging about the food quality. The handcut fries are amazing all on their own and worth going just for that. A neat stop for a vintage bar with good american cooking.  Stopped in while on a bike trip and we had a great stop.  From burgers, to BLTs, and breakfast... they have it all.  But don't ask for frills, because you may just get laughed at.  It's all good though.   I got a simple BLT with some home fries... classic and good.

Perfection! I wish I would have known about this place years ago! I have tried several items on their menu and have yet to be let down. They have awesome prices and I have not yet finished a meal so for a reasonable price I get two meals out of one. We love the service there and will return many times for sure!!!

Ate here while we were visiting Mansfield for a couple days. The atmosphere is nice, the staff was friendly and the food was good. We both got steak and it was amazing!! The Long Iand teas were very good, too. I highly recommend this place.

Had the NY Strip and it was very well prepared. Staff was friendly and engaging.
