Went for dinner last night before a drum corps show nearby. Atmosphere was cozy and the staff were warm and helpful. We ordered a few starters because we traveled a bit from out of town and were hungry. We had the Spicy Crab dip def tasted the Crab, and not overly spicy...just a hint of heat). We had the Mac and cheese and the pickle jar (an assortment of pickled veggies that hit all the right spots in flavor and crunch). For our main dishes we had the Crab Cakes, yum! The Beet Salad with Steak, yum yum! And the Gold Label Burger, super yum...8pz Pat Lafrieda dry aged beef medium rare with nothing on it but caramelized onion. Delicious! We finished with a sweet treat of layered chocolate cak...
I found out about Union and Finch after reading somewhere that they had one of the best burgers in the Lehigh Valley, so I just had to try it. The burger was fantastic and the truffle fries for the extra dollar were some of the best as well. They have some fantastic specials available as well. The service was good as well, with my only complaint being the server told us they were out of the wine we ordered and offered us a comparable wine, assuming it would be close in price. Unfortunately it ended up being a glass that was 5 dollars more expensive. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that we were picking a pricier wine that wasn't listed on the menu. It won't stop me from going ba...
Union Finch has the best brunch in the Lehigh Valley in my opinion. Whenever we are asked for a recommendation, they are always my first. Their food is always great. The service is great and the wait staff are friendly and helpful. The drink selection is top notch whether you want alcohol or not. Mimosa flights are a highlight! My wife and I had the Pigs in a Blanket, Grilled Halloumi, and the Avocado Smash Benedict special. Highly recommend a reservation if coming for brunch or dinner on the weekend. We will ALWAYS come back here.
We were traveling and wanted to find something of decent quality for a late Sunday lunch. We didn't really have high expectations which is probably why we were blown away by Union Finch. I was unprepared for how amazing the Chicken and Waffles were, my SO was unprepared for how good the burger was. Also great that there was some (good) variety in the beer selection (since I'm a bit of a beer snob). I will ABSOLUTELY go out of my way to stop by for a Sunday brunch any time I'm anywhere close by. Stopped by on an impulse for brunch and it was such a good find! I've had a lot of chicken waffle as it's my go-to order for brunch, and the chicken waffle here is one of the best I've had! They describe it as sous vide with a different breading than you're used to and it really makes the difference in creating that perfect juicy and flavorful chicken. The glaze and waffles pair perfectly together! I do wish the waffle was a little crispier but overall still amazing!
There were flies roaming around. The owner was not accommodating for anything. I ended up paying almost $200 for meals that my little sisters, my partner and I DID NOT enjoy. They said that if we were to switch meals because they “didn’t make a mistake with the food” I’d have to pay for the meal I didn’t like and the meal I replaced it with. I’ve never been to a spot that did that. The “mistake” was that I didn’t like the food. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SPOT!
First time here and it was a delight!! I had a Sweetwater Blue Wheat draft and it was smooth and refreshing. It has a hint of blueberry taste to it. Definitely recommend. For my meal I had the Roadside Burger with fries. It was alittle smaller than I was expecting but it made up for it with the taste. The service was great and everyone I met was friendly and helpful. If I 'm ever in the area again, I 'll definitely come back!!!
HORRIBLE PLACE! I was not able to enjoy my food. The rice was overcooked and mushy, there were bugs flying around. My bill was unbelievably high for the lack of accommodation I received. DO NOT COME HERE. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Food was great fun little place off the beaten path. We are just stopping through town and randomly found this place but it was worth the detour.
