Had an awful experience with the Union Pub and wanted to make all aware. Had reservations for 14 people for the Thursday of the March Madness tournament in Buffalo. Made the reservations 2 weeks before and all was supposed to be all set. I called them at noon the day of to see if it would be okay to be 15-20 minutes late as the game schedule came out made us a little behind. If not we would have left the games a little early to honor our time. I was told by the person who answered the phone (who also happened to take my reservation 2 weeks ago and acknowledged it) that there was a problem and they could not honor the reservations. I asked what the issue was and was just told he could not get...
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The first drink I had tasted like it was the leftover dregs from the bottom of the barrel. I ordered the house burger and fries, but was disappointed to find that the burger was ruined by a thick layer of melted cheese. The fries were greasy and soggy. The second drink I had was okay. However, I was unhappy to discover that they overcharged me for the burger, which was listed as $14.95 on the menu but came out to $15.95 on the bill. The price of the pints, at $7 each, also seemed quite expensive compared to what I had paid at a similar establishment the night before. Overall, I was not satisfied with my dining experience at this restaurant.
I heard that this restaurant serves large wings, so I thought it would be cool to order 20 wings each for me and my friend. However, when we received our order, the wings were cold and not appetizing. We would not have ordered them if we had known. Additionally, we had an issue with a Caucasian employee behind the bar who seemed reluctant to serve us. The wings were supposed to be saucy, but they were all dry. We felt uncomfortable as young African Americans in the restaurant. They made jokes about us possibly not paying for our meal in May 2022. Overall, it was not worth it.

directly opposite to sawlen field and walking mile) from the keybank center, union pub is the perfect place for before and after a local sport event. the personal is friendly, easy to speak and good what they do. eating is fantastic, (foto is transit logs) and the drinks are good inexpensive and flowing. the atmosphere is more intimate, in a historical building built in the 1800s.
I ordered French fries and fried pickles and was disappointed with my experience. The food was not prepared well and I had to return it. The bartender claimed that the fries were fresh, but when the fried pickles were remade, they still were not up to par. I decided to leave the uneaten food on the bar and left feeling unsatisfied. Spending $15 for a subpar meal was not worth it.
So I Ordered a Reuben Sandwich. Was Very Disappointed! There was No Sauerkraut, No Cheese A Very Little Thousand Island Dressing! Basically just a Corn Beef Sandwich! That is Absolutely Not a Reuben! The Only thing Halfway Decent we're the Homemade French Fries.I Don't recommend this place at all!
I enjoyed dining at this restaurant located in the heart of Buffalo. The prix des bacons dish was fantastic, and they offer a decent selection of beers, including local brews. This place is incredible! I met the owner and his beard is very soft and tickley. They have the perfect selection of beers and I was coaxed into getting this matching tattoo. I’m the one in the green shirt. Highly recommend the burgers. The meat just melts in your mouth.
