I can't say enough good things about this place. What a gem! Cute indy/hipster feel. Love that they have a mock drink menu, for us non-alcoholic drink lovers. And, their food is top notch! The shrimp pups were unique and quite tasty. The Scottish egg was a little salty but still really good and worth a try. Although a little heavy, the pork shank did not disappoint and neither did the pork butt. They were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The tuna tartare was impeccable. We loved the fresh cucumber taste that lingered with every bite. Delicate and devine, the beef carpaccio is a must! Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. It will not disappoint! The chef here is truly exceptional, crafting unique and delightful flavors. The burger was both beautiful and incredibly tasty, featuring thick-cut smoked bacon, tender oven-roasted beef, juicy fresh ground beef, and a lovely brioche bun. My girlfriend ordered the shrimp, which was good, though it didn't quite compare to the offerings at the Fish House. The salad was incredibly fresh, and all the flavors blended perfectly together. The sweet potato fries were among the best I've ever had, served in a warm metal container to keep them hot, and seasoned just right—I loved them right to the last bite. Without a reservation on a Friday, our party of four was limited to an hour, so we started with drinks at the bar! The dining room was a bit crowded, but it felt just right. There were plenty of tables available, though it seemed like there were only a few servers on duty. Once a table became available, the service was quick, friendly, and efficient. We began with the Wing Pups, which were delicious appetizers. The pork had a crispy exterior and was tender on the inside. The burger was also good and quite sizable. The only disappointment was the scallops; they weren't bad, but they didn't impress either. We’ll likely skip those on our next visit, but we definitely plan to return!
We had a great experience on a weeknight at Union Public house! The server was knowledgeable of the menu and checked on us regularly. Be prepared to scan a QR code as they don’t have printed menus anymore. We got the Sambal Chicken Sandwich (blackened with Kimchi Mustard, Scallion Aioli) and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was very flavor full and cooked perfectly. The second sandwich was the Open faced brisket Patti melt (with Cornbread, Balsamic Grilled Onions, Cheddar, Scallion Aioli). It’s been a while since I’ve been back to eat here. When I first came they had lamb sliders and those were delicious, the menu has changed. This visit was we got the jerk quail and pork shank. Highs: the pork shank was delicious and the jerk quail was cooked perfectly. Lows: reason for the 4 stars the curried island rice was not appetizing at all. It literally brought the dish down. No flavor bland too soupy tasting. Just odd for such a great dish. Overall, my experience and my guests experience was great. Later foodies
This is our favorite restaurant for date nights and a popular choice for guests visiting from out of town. Frank is our go-to server, and he’s simply the best. When it comes to the food, I absolutely love the Tuna Tartare, but the shells are out of this world! Every entrée we've tried has been fantastic, and the cocktails are equally impressive. We can't say enough good things about this place. It's always bustling, so I highly recommend making a reservation if you're planning to dine on the weekend.
We were waiting a while to go there and I wish we wouldn’t! This place is amazing. Everything we ordered was wow and on point! The service was great and we can’t wait for our next visit there ! If I could give more stars I would ! Mainly will recommend the open brisket sandwich that comes on a cornbread, OMG!
