I love this restaurant, true authentic Thai like you would find if touring through Thailand. I visited again on Saturday night with my daughter, we had spring rolls, Thai golden Barramundi, fried rice and of course ice cream all for just $40aud. The service is excellent and is very well run by Nat who will look after you brilliantly. It has a very intimate boutique feel to it and is always busy with regulars. If you haven't been i strongly suggest you try it. Can't wait to go back.
We dined there for the first time recently and were pleasantly surprised at the quality and size of the meals. The service was very good and it's a BYO (including beer) which makes for a cheap night out. We tried a variety of dishes but the soft shelled crab and the Penang curry were highlights. A great local restaurant, either dine in or take away. There's also a home delivery service.
Charming and attentive staff serving up Thai treats to keep everyone happy. The Tom Yum soup was a perfect kick off on a cold winters night, followed by tangy chicken satay. The Barramundi special was refreshingly flavoursome, and the prawn curry was delicious although the sauce could have been thicker. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.
Union Tree is a rather compact restaurant about 100mts north of Surrey Hills railway station. Staff are cheerful and attentive. After several visits we found slight variation in quality of some offerings, but in general Union Tree is above average in food and ambiance of your suburban standards. BYO wine only. I ate at Union Tree with a friend on a recent Thursday evening. The restaurant is small without being squashy and is popular with locals. The choice of food is quite extensive and includes a few banquets, which I'd enjoyed on previous occasions. The food was very good and service was friendly with no delays.
Best money bags ever! Chicken satay entree well cooked but still juicy with light tasty peanutty satay sauce. Prawn spring rolls just yummy! Great stir fries and massaman curry! Highly recommend and came in 35 mins as suggested! Will order again and again...
Small and friendly spot for good quality Thai food. Highlight was the spicy seafood dish and the stir fries. Although not traditional the sticky date pudding was really good way to end the meal. Definitely will go back!
To cater for about 15 we rang in our order for takeaway. On arrival we found the food almost ready and within minutes we were away. Te food was hot, very tasty and seemed fresh into the bargain. Dining in is an option Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Small Cafe which has good service, excellent food to eat in or take away. The noise when the cafe is full, is an issue for those who find it hard to hear. Just go early or later and enjoy
