Fantastic! Lovely service. They let us sit down while waiting for take our. We enjoy hot hot green tea. All items were quality and my group does not all enjoy the same things. Very importantly for my mom and for me at least while I have some mobility challengeges and my mom always down they have accessible parking, ramp to restuaurant, and bathroom with grab bar. I was really appreciative. I've been to Rockaway so many times. We've never tried this restaurant until now. We'll be be coming back again even it it's highter than our usual fare on our budget. They deserve every penny. Three cheers this place and its gentle, homey, welcoming atmosphere.
The interior is quite chic, although the exterior appears a bit rundown. The food is excellent and beautifully prepared. The service is good, and everything tastes super fresh. I visited during their happy hours from 4:30 to 6 PM, but I mostly ordered off the menu. I sat at the sushi bar, where there were two chefs. They offer a large menu, and I was particularly interested in trying some unique dishes. They also have a selection of wine, beer, and sake, although I didn't have any drinks this time. I would definitely recommend this place and will return when I'm back in the area. My chef was Andy.
This restaurant is situated at the end of the street, with convenient parking available right out front. The interior is quite charming and inviting. Our server promptly brought us water, which was appreciated. While the prices per roll seemed reasonable, I was surprised at how much smaller they were than I had anticipated. We didn't feel satisfied with our usual order, and I ended up having to place a second order to feel full. Overall, it was a good experience.
Ordered Charashi Don and Chicken Kaarage, and a sushi roll. Wow what pathetic tiny bowls of charashi don!! They run $30 each. Zero tuna or hamachi- only garbage fish salmon (not my fave anyway) nor was the fish even uniformly sliced. How do they charge so much for this??!! The entire staff unfamiliar from the last time I went. Appears there's been another turn over. Going elsewhere next time we want sushi/charashi don. Service: Takeaway

The pricing was quite reasonable for what we received. However, the waiter didn’t check on us despite the restaurant being empty, and it was difficult to get his attention when we wanted the bill. I decided to try some random rolls from the menu just to explore new options, and they turned out to be delicious! The restroom was also very clean and had a pleasant smell. Overall, it’s a nice place.
Sushi is ok, but they mess up my order every time I go. I have a severe avocado allergy and they continue to put avocado on my roll and mix it with others that have avocado despite repeat reminders. Will not be going back here Service: Take out Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
