We had a quick drink here before going downstairs to the restaurant.It was a fun place to get in the mood before dinner. The service was very friendly if a bit slow because of the crowd. Despite being busy there was still seating available and there is an outside area if the weather is fine. The bar is up two floors so this might be a problem for some.
Upside Rooftop Bar is in such a handy location right on the main strip of Fitzroy. It's definitely hard to get a table on a sunny day but it's so worth it, views right across to the city are stunning! The atmosphere is great with everyone just happy go lucky and ready for a good time.
We went after a meal somewhere else for a few drinks, lovely girl on the bar welcomed us and created the most INCREDIBLE Japanese **** Mary I have ever tasted! The only downfall is that we were one of three groups in the whole bar, everyone should spread the word about this place!

This destination is about meeting with friends/tourists for drinks and the great view out the back towards the Exhibition Buildings. Sunny and sheltered from the wind by glass but still outside so suitable at any time of the year. Leave the food option for the two levels below.
After enjoying a great meal downstairs we ventured upstairs to find a very vibrant bar with great music great range of drinks will be back even just for a quick drink without going to the restuarant
The Upside Rooftop Bar is a great spot for a drink, it has been furnished really well with a really good open area with views. A great place to meet friends for a long Sunday session.

It's a cool bar, it's full of cool people. I think I'm just too old and deaf to be at places where you have to scream to be heard.
