Went to Urban Turban counter to get some lunch approx 11am on a Tuesday.Really felt like a curry, hadn't been here before, so walked past to see what they had available, girl saw me approach the counter and did not greet me, I saw that none of the dishes were labelled, and there was not a curry list (that I saw) on their menu board. Walked away, realised there was no where else that sold curry, so re-approached the counter. I ordered a curry mix where you select three different curries with rice. Firstly the staff member asked me if I wanted "yellow or white rice" - just because I am an Australian, I do know about Indian food - I asked for Saffron rice. She then asked what curries I wanted,...
I used to like this place .But from today, it is not anymore . Disappointed with service. I came to get take away curries around 1pm it was lunch time. I saw 3 girl was working on counter.When I was ordering my meal to one of the staff another old Indian woman suddenly interrupt our conversation and started ordering to the staff who was taking my order . The staff started serving the rude lady even before finishing taking my order. I like meals there but i may have to change place to eat next time. To staffs, please serve one customer who was ordering meal to you first.
We had a very bad experience, we found a fly in our food we had "take away" from URBAN TURBAN" Carousel. I went back to complain, and asked for refund, when I was told to come back some other day. No proper response, No refund, nothing at all, that was so annoying, I am surprised to see this attitude and poor standard of hygiene in Australia. I really want to go further with my complain, can anyone tell me whom should I contact. I have the photo with fly in food.Hina

Urban Turban/Tikka Turban are a chain throughout Perth serving up uninspiring, bland fast food Indian and having the cheek to charge a premium for it vs other Indian food court style vendors in Perth. Avoid.
Worst experience ever..terrible food..we ordered butter chicken it tastes like some kind of sweet dish..so much sweet..food was not even warm..over expensive.
Girl at the front couldn't put the rice on a separate plates so then asked if she could put the rice next to the curry on the same plate instead of on top
