If you're looking for a quick bite of brick oven pizza, this place on the corner is a fantastic choice. The pizzas are beautifully displayed, and I was surprised by the size of the Margherita slices—they're quite wide and super thin, yet they maintain their shape surprisingly well. I really appreciated how they covered the entire slice with mozzarella, which melted perfectly over the sauce, unlike other Margheritas I've tried. The sauce is flavorful, and fresh basil is generously scattered across the massive slice. To top it all off, the crust is excellent, making for very good pizza overall.
This was the worst pizza experience I've ever had. The customer service was atrocious. When I tried to place an order over the phone, I was asking my kids and wife for their choices, but the man on the line got rude because we weren't deciding quickly enough. He even repeated the price of the pizza when I had already told him I knew the price since I checked it beforehand. His attitude was frustrating. My wife was shocked at how poor the service was. We really wanted to support a local business, but this was a major letdown. The pizza was burnt, and I won't be returning again.
Garlic Knots: The marinara sauce was overly tangy, and the knots themselves were just average. I'd rate them a 2 out of 10. Grandma Pizza Slice: The crust was extremely thick and didn't resemble a traditional grandma slice at all. I give it a 1 out of 5. Artisan Pizza: The sauce had a flavor reminiscent of vodka sauce, and this pizza was definitely better than the others I tried. I would rate it a 4 out of 5. Regular Pizza Slice: Exactly as described on the menu, no surprises here. This one earns a solid 5 out of 5.
Great pizza at a local neighborhood pizza place. It's a Floral Park staple and our regular go to. The place is always clean nicely decorated, well priced and friendly. And did I mention the pizza is authentic and always good? Stop by or order in. You won't be disappointed.
I love Vacarro. The food is great and the owner and staff are very cool people. You won't feel out of place here. Everybody feels welcomed here. I'm going to miss their food and just seeing the guys when I move -but, before I go I'll get myself some yummy pizza.
Vaccaro's is a family favorite! They have quick delivery and my order was ready for pickup in just 20 minutes. The vodka sauce and ham brick oven cake are absolutely amazing! I really love this place.
GREAT cheese slice. Tasted fresh and definitely satisfied the craving. Only con is that the two slices I got were pretty small for being $3 each.
The pizza is excellent. The two brothers are wonderful. The uncle, however, can be a bit difficult. But the food is the main reason I visit.
Dynamite taste. Sicilian was excellent. Don't hesitate to ear at Vaccaros Pizza.
