That said, I had a great experience at Valencia. I visited on a Tuesday with a friend, and we enjoyed some food and drinks. I ordered the rum punch, which was very sweet but still enjoyable. We shared ceviche and a crab cake from the specials menu, along with one empanada each. The ceviche had an unusual flavor, reminiscent of cocktail sauce, which I’m not used to, so I’m not sure I’d order it again. The crab cake, on the other hand, was delicious. There was a mix-up with my friend's order, and she received an arepa by mistake, but we didn’t mention it to the server since it was tasty as well. Overall, we had a lovely time and will definitely be returning!
We enjoyed a delicious dinner at this restaurant. We arrived at 6:30 on a Saturday night, and it was bustling (we managed to snag the last two-person table since they don’t take reservations for smaller groups). The tables are set quite close together. I ordered the ceviche and chicken arepas, while my partner chose another dish. Everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. The cauliflower curry soup was fantastic as well. We'll definitely be returning. Just a heads-up—parking can be tricky!
It was virtually empty when we arrived for our Thursday lunch. Food arrived quickly. Everything was delicious. Staff was friendly and efficient. There was plenty of street parking. It was very affordable, and me and my wife enjoyed it very much. We used the time we recouped to fill up our car and run some errands. Awesome!
Great place! I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Our server, Jessie, was amazing, providing excellent service. We visited for Sunday brunch and ordered the chicken bacon chowder, breakfast tacos, and the steak and eggs plate. I'm looking forward to going back to sample more items from their menu! A tipico hearty breakfast with chorizo and bacon. Known for the green guasacaca sauce. Best time to go on the weekends without a crowd is breakfast. Otherwise it is a busy place. Parking will be tough, street or the small back lot.
The Blackened Tilapia and Valencia Steak Egg were fantastic! The service was a bit slow, but the staff was very friendly. We will definitely return!
