My family and friends have been dining at Vandana's for over half a decade. It is a modestly small eatery but the food packs a punch. The menu is plentiful and the quality of the food is right up there with some of the best Indian I've ever had. The curries are flavoursome and the naan, although at times can be a little on the dry side, is also good. Rice is plentiful and the accompaniments/sauces are delicious. Try the whole tandoori chicken, which comes out on a sizzling plate - yum! The decor isn't much you don't eat the chairs but the lamb burra kebab cutlets are out of this world so flavoursome and tasty , I could eat 10 of them !! The old favourites are there tandoori, butter chicken , good rogan josh and naan bread. Its not trendy or cutting edge but if you want good reasonably priced curries and more its great. They have been there for decades so they must be doing it well for the longevity. BYO and its a cheap night out
We're local and love having this close by. We have lots of family birthdays here - the kids love the food. The staff are really friendly and helpful, even when it gets really busy. Good serving sizes and very tasty - keeps everyone happy. Been coming here for years, and we've had a great experience every time. Recommended.
We have eaten here many times - as a couple and part of larger groups. Keep your numbers down to six or eight as the room isn't large. The food and service are top notch and the value good. We always make sure we order the onion bhaji!

this is the best Indian restaurant in Melbourne, I have tried many, this is a hidden gem. Been going here since it opened, never had a bad meal. The owners are so friendly it's like we're part of the family. Highly recommend a visit.
We come to Melbourne yearly and every year the kids can not wait to get take away from here! It is our favorite and never disappoints! We love the butter chicken and the naan can not be beat! We love this spot!
Came here with a friend and had a really nice meal. We ordered two mains and rice and shared them. The food came out hot which is important to me and was very fresh and tasty.
Good good seems to be insufficient but it is filling it is more than adequate, drink lassi with the meal. Service is a bit slow.
