My partner and I went to this restaurant on a Sunday night for a quick visit. We were welcomed in the sports bar by a friendly young man named Dominic. His service was the best we have ever received at a pub. He played our favorite music on the bar's music system, we enjoyed a game of free pool, and before we knew it, we had spent 5 hours there having an amazing time. We will definitely be returning next Sunday! This place has become our new favorite pub!
I eat there 4 or 5 times a week easily. Chicken nacho burgers are the best btw. As for the staff I have gotten to know them all by name and they are a good bunch. Definitely going there next week and the week after and the week after for as long as they will let me. I even got to meet Santa there. They really should get Canadian club and dry on tap at the gaming bar and even the kitchen if I had to be critical.
The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere with tall ceilings and a stylish design. The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly, making it a perfect place to dine. The gaming room is spacious and I didn't feel crowded at all. Located centrally on the Gold Coast, I highly recommend bringing your friends for a drink or your family for a meal. They even have a cool kids room with movies.
Absolutely loving Monday nights for dinner, been a few times on a Monday for an early dinner out with our little girl as they have great entertainment for the kids, last Monday it was Elsa from Frozen and she was amazing. Kept the kids entertained for hours with games and colouring in. All the staff are great and so friendly, our meals were perfect and I love the kids menu. Thanks! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I’m not one to normally write reviews but after the amazing breakfast we had there this morning I just had to. I had the maple bacon and my partner had the eggs Benedict both meals were cooked to perfection. I will be seeing you next Sunday thank you varsity tavern.
Took the kids out for my sons birthday dinner he loved it. Huge meals great value for money, lots of families dining, great service, Thanks to Kayla and her friendly staff.
The staff are always amazing and a blessing to chat to. Awesome feeds and can’t go wrong with the best beer. Rob, the bartender, is the absolute man!
