We arrived early for dinner because we did not have reservations and it turned out to be a wise choice on a Saturday evening since a majority of tables had been reserved. The vibe is a little weird, but there was a steady flow of take out customers, a good sign. We took on a cramped window seat and were attended to quite nicely, and cauliflower soup arrived shortly thereafter, complimentary. I had an incredible appetizer, tulsi mango shrimp. Chicken and saag paneer, bangan barta. The barta was loaded with peas however and somewhat non traditional. Excellent service at reasonable cost. We left a hefty cash tip and drove back to LI happy.
The first course featuring crispy eggplant with baingan chutney and chickpeas in tokree ki chaat was absolutely delicious! The shareable main courses leaned more towards a fusion style, tailored to the American palate. If you’re looking for some heat, be sure to ask for it, as the spice blends in the dishes are quite flavorful. The presentation of the food is very appealing as well. I appreciate their BYOB policy! However, the ambience doesn’t quite match the high prices on the menu, according to my Indian husband. The host and server were very pleasant.

The chicken tikka was tasteless and disappointing, having a watery texture along with an odd dry and rubbery feel. The rice was plain and needed seasoning. The Manchurian dish fell flat, with an unappetizing sauce and overcooked vegetables. The garlic naan was burnt and overly dry. Ultimately, there was nothing special about this restaurant. Save your money and dine elsewhere. I spent $75 so you won't have to!

The food was exquisite, served in a beautifully decorated environment. We started our meal with a complimentary shot of cauliflower soup, which was delightful. Then, we selected a range of unique dishes, avoiding anything we could find at other restaurants, and everything was fantastic. The waitstaff was attentive without being intrusive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable.
I thoroughly enjoyed the food! It’s quite different from the usual Indian restaurants that typically offer tomato-based sauces. The dishes were perfectly prepared, looking fresh and appetizing. The staff was very attentive, and the atmosphere was delightful. I will definitely be returning time and time again!
I had never experienced an Indian restaurant like this one before. It was very stylish and impeccably clean. The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly. The large kitchen filled the space with wonderful aromas. I highly recommend it! Be sure to take pictures of the beautifully presented dishes.
The food was amazing! They have a fantastic variety of Indian dishes, and everything we tried was incredibly tasty!
