Redirected from CT to NJ, in a small node is this incredible find. Great food, great staff. No cut corners. Sagar, the young man who took our orders served us, took every question about our expectations and made us feel like we were in India. So much that we asked where we can wash our hands. And would you believe he came with three bowls of warm water with lemon in it!! We didn't expect that!! Great service!
I had been craving Indian food for so long, but holy cow am I glad I found this place!! It's in a small little area, but definitely feels like a hole in the wall, but that just means the restaurant spends more on making good food! The flavors were all just so strong and impactful, which is pretty much everything I want from Indian food.
The food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is small and cozy. I can already tell this will be my new favorite spot for a weekly meal. After moving to Connecticut, I spent a decade searching for great Indian cuisine, and I’m thrilled to have finally found it!
You'll definitely want to return. The flavors were exactly what you hope for. Though it only has seating for six, most customers opt for takeout. I love everything about this place. Most beautiful people who work here who have a great report with the community and know the namesakes. They are always greeted with a smile and exceptional service offered. We order here all the time and have never been disappointed.
We ordered the lunch special, and it was a generous portion at a fantastic price. The food was tasty, and the customer service was outstanding. The restaurant is quite small, so I would recommend it mainly for takeout. I highly recommend checking it out!
