My friend and I went there for lunch takeout. I ordered a "Chicken Set A" while she had some deep fried roll I couldn't identify.I was pleasantly surprised to find out I got miso soup and several "extras" included in this box special. It all tasted really nice and at $13.95 was pretty good value.My friend was quoted a price that was higher than what was advertised on their website. She mentioned it, and was told "we just recently raised our prices and they aren't updated on the website yet".Wow. In my world that's false advertising. First time visitor, heard of it via a friend. Excellent service, fast preparation, food is delicious and fresh. Got to my car to discover they threw in an extra treat on the house. Will definitely be back. Update to my review, I have come to love stopping here for a roll and some nigiri on my way into the mountains and finding a nice spot outside along the road to enjoy the food. Today stopped along the river just outside of Clearwater and had a peaceful meal with the whole area to ourselves. The chef and servers as always kind and generous when I was ordering.
Within 1 minute of being seated, I was drinking tea and enjoying miso soup. My sashimi/teriyaki bento was ready before I could finish the soup. I love the teriyaki here because it is served on crispy sauted cabbage and beansprouts - so light and crunchy. Tempura light and sizzling hot. As always - filling, but not heavy. Sashimi very fresh and beautiful. My favourite meal here.
No dine in right now but the food is still great and the staff is very friendly!! I ordered the Sakura roll which was a lot Spicer than I thought it would be but very delicious otherwise. The roll on the left is the salmon dragon roll. Super fast service too, my order was ready in around 15 minutes.
Enjoyable food. Got in there just before the rush. Our waiter did well but was overly busy. He did his best though which was appreciated. Food was plenty, and it was good. Will go back again when the desire for Japanese food strikes again.
My go to place for Japanese food. The dinner box comes with an incredible variety and amount of food. Always top notch for quality, even when getting take out. My mouth waters thinking of when I can next go back!
We have been to numerous sushi restaurants and this is the best in town for quality and service. The location on Vedder road allows for quick and easy access, you will not leave starving
